巫師小前鋒皮爾斯（Paul Pierce）在推特上確認，他做出跳出合同的決定，成為一名自由球員。

去年夏天，皮爾斯與巫師簽下2年價值1100萬美元的合約，其中第二年為球員選項，價值550萬美元。上賽季，他以先發小前鋒上場，平均得11.9分和4個籃板2助攻，而且他在季後賽中上演一些令人難忘的精彩時刻和關鍵進球。

上周，就有流言指出，皮爾斯不會選擇退役，他會跳出合約，並在巫師和快艇之間二選一。

37歲的皮爾斯曾表示，他非常喜歡巫師目前的環境，他跳出合約，仍可以和巫師簽下超過550萬美元的一年約，巫師依舊保持2016年夏天薪資空間的靈活性。

當然，皮爾斯也有可能回家鄉洛杉磯。快艇不久前交易先發小前鋒巴恩斯（Matt Barnes），急需補充。如果皮爾斯最終加盟快艇的話，他將和昔日恩師瑞弗斯（Doc Rivers）再度合作。
