南韓MERS又有9人確診，總計確診病例增加到50例，其中4人死亡。

當地媒體報導，自上月出現第一起確診個案至今，已有超過2萬名外國遊客取消到南韓旅遊。

韓國觀光公社表示，單在上星期四，就有8800多名遊客取消行程，包括7000多名中國遊客及1000多名日本遊客。

南韓總統朴槿惠稍早前視察國立中央醫療院，呼籲市民與政府合作消除疫情。她承認在疫情發生的初期階段採取的應對措施欠佳，但會盡一切努力消除傳染病。
